Constructed between 27BC and 68AD is an amazing example of Roman architecture with a capacity of 23,000. As it stands, it's a testimony of the long history of the city of Pula in Croatia.

Abundance of Fruit and Vegetables

Croatia's coastal region has a Mediterranean climate that provides the perfect conditions for fruit and vegetables to grow. I was particularly excited to see the large fig trees everywhere. I even tried Fig Gelato. FYI, I loved it so much, I tried it twice, once in Croatia and then again in Venice. I much preferred the one I had in Croatia.
